Before you see anything
Joey needs your consent as the parent or guardian to keep your student's notebook online. Here's what that means.
What's kept
- Your student's first name
- What your student and Joey write on the board during sessions
- Pictures, handouts and PDFs added during sessions
- Session dates and the PDF of each session
- Your email address, so you can sign in
Why it's kept
Only to run tutoring: so your student's work carries over from session to session, and so your family can look back at it.
Who can see it
Only your family and Joey. There are no public profiles and students can't contact each other. It's never sold or used for advertising, and it isn't shared with anyone except the services that run the portal: Cloudflare (hosting and storage) and Resend (sign-in emails).
How long it's kept
Until 12 months after your student's last session, and then it's deleted. You can delete it sooner at any time.
Your rights
You can see everything held about your student here, download a copy, and delete all of it, which also takes back your consent and stops anything new being kept. You can also ask Joey at [email protected]. The full privacy policy has the details.
A day after you consent you'll get a confirmation email explaining how to take it back.

Your family's data
Download a copy of everything, or delete it all.
Delete everything
This permanently removes your students' notebooks, PDFs and pictures, along with your sign-in, and takes back your consent. It can't be undone.
